General Description:

Thailand All Season Mango, also known as Nam Dok Mai or Four Season Mango, is a premium Thai variety famous for its ability to fruit multiple times a year. It is known for its sweet taste, fiberless pulp, and beautiful yellow skin when ripe.


🌱 How to Plant:

  1. Location: Choose a spot with full sunlight (at least 6–8 hours daily).
  2. Soil: Well-drained loamy or sandy soil; avoid waterlogging.
  3. Planting Method:
    • Dig a hole: 1.5 ft x 1.5 ft x 1.5 ft.
    • Mix soil with compost or cow dung before planting.
    • Place the grafted sapling carefully; don’t cover the grafting point.
    • Water immediately after planting.
  4. Spacing: Maintain a distance of 12–15 ft between plants if planting multiple.

📏 Plant Size:

  • At planting (grafted): 1 to 2.5 feet tall.
  • Mature size: 8 to 12 feet in home gardens (pruned); can grow taller if left unpruned.
  • Growth Rate: Medium to fast under proper care.

🥭 Fruiting Time:

  • First Fruiting: Usually in 2–3 years after planting (as it’s grafted).
  • Main Season: Typically April to June.
  • Special Feature: Can bear fruits 2–3 times a year under optimal tropical conditions.
  • Yield: Increases with age; mature trees can yield 50–200+ mangoes per year.

  • Type: Semi-dwarf to medium-sized grafted mango tree.
  • Fruit Characteristics:
    • Shape: Elongated and curved.
    • Skin: Smooth and golden-yellow.

🌿 Caring Tips:

  1. Watering:
    • Regular watering in the first year.
    • Reduce watering in winter; increase during flowering and fruiting.
  2. Fertilizer:
    • Apply organic compost twice a year.
    • Use mango-specific NPK fertilizer (15:15:15) every 3 months.
    • During flowering, switch to low nitrogen, high potassium fertilizer.
  3. Pruning:
    • Remove suckers and dead/diseased branches yearly.
    • Shape the tree to allow air and light inside the canopy.
  4. Pest & Disease Control:
    • Use neem oil or organic pesticide to prevent common mango pests like mealybugs or hoppers.
    • Ensure proper air circulation and avoid overwatering.
  5. Mulching:
    • Use dry leaves or coconut husk around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds.

  • This variety is ideal for home gardens and terrace planting in containers (use 25–30 inch pots).
